Introduction
The pottery of Jitka Hlavsova was renovated from December 2006 to June 2007 with a financial participation of the European Union and the Karlovy Vary region. The pottery under the Loket castle was extended by new rooms, new pottery wheels, a table roller, a clay pugmill and a new electric kiln.
Showrooms with the Cafe Gallery and a small shop were renovated too. During summer months you can see our works and drink coffee at the tables on the little yard.
The gallery started its activity with Ivan Mladek painting exhibition (ANTIPERSPEKTIVA) in July, 2007.
From September to April we offer pottery workshops for children and adults, beginners and advancers, devoted to throwing on the pottery wheel, with emphasis on functional pottery.
In the Cafe Gallery we organise also conversation meetings with native speakers to improve language proficiency of English learners.
Our visitors can use the public Internet. We can offer two computers with web cameras and earphones with microphones.
If the ceramics in which we give you drinks lure your attention in the Cafe, you can buy them in the pottery.
In the pottery we offer wide assortment of ceramic and also other products for your interior and for your garden. If you do not choose from the issued ready works, we can produce for you the work on order.
